Lavender was sent away to live in seclusion almost immediately after she was born. She has not seen her mother since she was a very small child, and she does not remember her father's face at all. Without explanation, the king passed a law punishable by death that no man of the kingdom regardless of age or class may lays eyes upon his daughters. All of the princess's keepers, tutors, and servants have been female. The result is Lavender's naivete and her intense curiosity regarding the male sex and the outside world in general. Lavender's favorite book is one entitled "Love and War" by the great Vielle.
Felicia Anapolai
A quiet and mysterious maid in the employ of Princess Lavender's keepers. Felicia's instructions are to, along with the other maids of the manor, keep the manor clean as well as feed and entertain the princess. Felicia has a number of secrets kept hidden from the others which make relationships rather complicated. For this reason, Felicia is quite reserved and refrains from sharing personal information, much to the princess's chagrin.
Sir Tobith Grengis
As a veteran of the war who came home alive but missing a leg, Grengis was given the title "sir" and put out to pasture. He is fated to watch over the manor containing the mysterious princess, a boring job to say the least. He speaks in a manner that might suggest a lack of education, but to judge him by this alone would be a sore miscalculation.
I had some computer trouble this week, but here is a new page!
