I've decided in the end to hold back on the detail because it was really interfering with my schedule and causing me more stress than it is worth. I cannot currently afford to dedicate full-time hours to this comic and continue to publish it for free. So, although it kind of hurts, I'm not going to push myself to the limits in the artwork and instead focus on progressing the story quickly.

Of course, when the book goes to print I will add in all the fine details and improve the artwork overall. This is something I've already been doing, just not so consciously.

So, you can see on this page I didn't add spot blacks or hatching, I just did line art and tones pretty much. In the book, it'll be a lot prettier but for now it is updated on time, and that's more important.
