Ever Legend

Postby Jamie on Mon Aug 31, 2009 8:56 pm

For those of you who don't know, I started a story several years ago called Ever Legend. The original comic was a short story I did to enter a contest. The 20-page limit and time restrictions made it come out kinda bleh, but a lot of people were intrigued.

Since then, I've been writing stories based on this universe and its characters sort of traditionally for Nanowrimo. Nobody's ever read these incomplete texts except for myself, haha. Will this change? MAYBE.

After I edit the story and figure out where to go with it, I am considering presenting it online as a web novel with lots of illustrations. That is what I made the forum/topic to discuss. I am not sure if my writing skills are adequate enough to do this, but I've read a lot of bad books that are horrendously popular, and a lot of web novels that are downright terrible. So, I dunno. Let me know what you think, you devoted fans out there.

Ever Legend! I kinda miss it. Maybe Ever/Lavender could more closely cross paths one day? Lavender vs Ever: Clash of Universes 2 Remix Battle!

It was pretty good though.
Real life is really boring. It's pretty balanced, but I can't do any frieballs or air combos. Real life is like Virtua Fighter.

Haha. There's a small tie-in coming up in this chapter, actually. I can't give it away yet though. XD

I have a general dislike for reading stuff on the computer because I'm a dirty elitist that only reads paper books.

But if there are pictures to keep me amused, then I'll prolly read it. ;)

Yeah, Ever Legend, I remember that. It was pretty cool. Will it find it's way back up on the internet again?

Eventually it will be reborn because it is related to Lavender Legend, but I have to do substantial writing work to it. For now, Lavender Legend is the incarnation of that project I'm mos focused on.

I was thinking of doing it in a web novel form with a weekly new chapter plus an illustration (that way the story would move faster than a webcomic), but I just have too many projects right now to undertake it.

Makes sense. It might be something you have to leave until your schedule lightens up. Or it could be the sequel to Lavender Legend?
