Entaria: The western continent inhabited by dwarves. The city of Teran is their only city, but it is enormous in size. Due to its distance from Intergard, Entaria was only recently discovered by Tristanian explorers. However, a human settlement known as Den Roh has been here for over two hundred years.

Esperon: The Eastern half of Alortan. Ruled by Duke Rashall, it is a community of stark contrasts. Most of the inhabitants of Esperon are either nobility or Alors--those who serve nobility. They support Shalara in her heavy-fisted rule and would like that Princess Lorta not be crowned queen.

Intergard: The southern continent where Tristan, Starlake, and many other human nations are found.

Lost Mountains: A mountain range cursed by the elves to be impassible. Humans had associated these mountains with evil and numerous superstitions, but in truth they are no more than a barrier to hide the land of the elves.

Purgaton: The world the story takes place in.

North Village: Rien's home town on the continent of Alfiera. As a colony of Tristan, their men are sent to Intergard to fight in times of war.

Somerland: The western half of Alortan. Inhabited mainly by the common class, they support Claudia's revolutionary ideas of reform for Alortan. Princess Lorta is their beloved icon.

Spirit Spear: The towering castle at the center of Alortan which pierces the sky. Queen Shalara lives here along with members of the royal council who govern Alortan. The Sun Sword was housed until recently when it was pilfered by a certain blonde half-elf.

Starlake: A country bordering Tristan, named so for the beautiful lake which surrounds a mysterious natural spire. Unhappy with the state they were left in after assisting Tristan in the Archmage War, the country of Starlake attacked Tristan without provocation. Since their surrender they have been under Tristanian occupation.

Teran: The city of the dwarves. Although known as a "free" city, it has a powerful aristocracy.

Tristan: The most powerful country on the continent of Intergard, widely regarded as the center of trade for the world.
